Slix Enters the Market with the Downsizer Mens Shapewear & Influencer Stay Tucked Undershirt Lines

Boy do I love hearing about new undershirt news from companies trying to challenge the status quo! A little over a week ago UK retailer Marks & Spencer announced the availability of their new Bodymax men’s slimming undershirt line (which I’ll be trying out soon) priced at under $25 USD. That’s significantly less than the closest comparable products priced at over $55.

Well, a couple of days ago I received an email from Slix founder, Greg Hall, to let me know of their recently launched line of men’s underwear that includes two different types of undershirts (one being a mens shapewear/slimming undershirt priced at $39), boxer briefs, as well as dress socks.  Here’s his email:

Dear Tug,

I’ve recently launched Slix, an edgy line of men’s underwear that is quickly becoming a favorite among fashion-savvy professionals. We currently offer two different styles of undershirts (with two more designs on the way) along with boxer briefs and dress socks.  I appreciate the variety and candor that is found on your site and would be honored to have you evaluate our undershirts.  Of course, I’d offer a special promotion to your readers as well.

Slix undergarments utilize cutting-edge textiles and revolutionary designs to overcome the shortcomings of cotton: moisture retention, stretching, untucking and bunching. The quality of the textiles and manufacturing is excellent, but since Slix is a direct-to-consumer business, the price points are less than comparable shirts on the market today.

The first shirt we offer, The Influencer, is an extremely soft, low-profile, breathing/wicking undershirt that never comes untucked. The second, The Downsizer, utilizes seamless construction and moderate compression to live up to it’s namesake. Both undershirts fit snugly.

Please view our site at and let me know how I can send samples for your consideration. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Greg Hall

After a quick email exchange with Greg, I got confirmation that I’ll be receiving both undershirts to try out and review! In addition, we’re going to be putting together a product giveaway soon so that one or more lucky winners will be awarded some free Slix products to try out for themselves!

    • hey charles, the only two types of product that come to mind are:

      1. athletic union suits
      2. one-piece underwear for men, like the products from Top Mens Underwear (

check out those items and then maybe do some googling for one-piece underwear for men or mens one-piece underwear.

      good luck buddy!

  1. Greg from Slix has been gracious to offer a replacement for the shirt and another style to try out. The great customer service has earned Slix my loyalty.

  2. Purchased Downsizer and after wearing for one day, it developed a hole when I took it off. It’s feels like a cotton jersey and not sure it’s a good material to use. I’ll probably stick to Underworks. They more reasonably priced and longer lasting.

    • thanks for the info matt. i heard from the founder of slix not too long ago that they are working on some new men’s shapewear products, so we’ll see what they come up with! regardless, thanks for coming back and posting your feedback!
