Pariah Boxer Briefs Review
It’s something that no man wants to think about, but something that we all have to keep aware of.
That’s what Pariah’s founder, Scott Petinga, wants you to be aware of when buying his briefs. Pariah is one of the few men’s underwear brands that actively works for creating awareness of this deadly disease.
Each box of Pariah’s underpants such as trunks, boxer briefs, and midway briefs contains a testicular self-exam flyer and a message that all men need to hear, after Petinga himself fought that battle and now wants to make sure the rest of us have the knowledge ourselves.
I was asked if I wanted to try these new underpants out, and of course, I said yes.
I tried a pair of their new Midway Briefs and was pleasantly surprised with the result.
Pariah spent 2 years perfecting what they refer to as “CLEANCOOL” fabric, “scientifically tested to eliminate various harmful germs and reduce the potential for odor, bacteriological or mildew attack — the ONLY underwear company in the world to have such a product”.
Pariah Underwear Fabric
Some of the properties of their fabric include:
- Moisture Wicking
- Four-Way Stretch
- Incredibly Soft
In particular, the aim of this men’s boxer brief is to ensure that you feel like you’re not even wearing underwear.
To begin with, I’d say they’ve done a pretty solid job at that.
Coupled with modern technology, the material is also nice and lightweight, somewhat similar to the Air series from Tommy John.
With the longer length Midway, I had zero leg ride-up any of the days I tested it out. They also have a more traditional length boxer brief and shorter trunk option.
The waistband is minimal, and I didn’t have any issues with it folding over when I leaned down to tie my shoes, pick something up, etc.
The few minor issues with the Pariah underwear are not deal-breakers, but a tad annoying. For example, they kept sliding down in the rear. Therefore, I repeatedly had to pull them back up. No idea why.
They also seem to need a bit more room in the front pouch area.
And the last (personal preference here), I’m more of a fan of minimal labeling, and the large block letters across the waistband just weren’t my favorite. However, your tastes may vary.
- Nice CleanCool Fabric
- No leg ride up!
- Good Waistband
- Somewhat odd fit in the rear for some people
- Needs more room in the front pouch
I think that Pariah underwear gets everything right for the most part. Just a few more small adjustments to the design would have made them a top-notch product on their hands.
For now, I’d probably say that if you’re on the thinner side, these will probably be a good fit.
