What Makes Ejis Undershirts Different?
I reached back out to Dan and asked how Ejis Undershirts are different from other sweat-blocking undershirts (I have a list here).
At Ejis we set out to tackle the everyday problems that other companies were avoiding, like sweat and odor.
As we are designing each new product we focus on weaving intelligent design, world class functionality, and unrivaled comfort together to produce a product that just works.
This unique combination gives our customers something we call “Wearable Confidence”.
Our mission is to do more than produce a functional product. We’re really focused on building men’s confidence with discreet solutions that are guaranteed to work.
We want to give our customers the confidence to seize every opportunity without worrying that something as natural as sweat or odor will hold them back.
From the outset, we hunted for the best high-quality materials we could find.
We chose premium micro modal fabric as our foundation material after an exhaustive process of testing dozens of different materials.
None of the alternatives could match the silky feel, anti-microbial properties and water retention ability of micro modal.
By adding 5% spandex it helped to add stretch that assists in keeping its shape and makes it feel like a high-performance fabric than a regular undershirt.
We then permanently fused silver to the micro modal fibers which help fight odor-causing bacteria.
While this process adds meaningful costs to us, we believe it is in line with our goal of producing a product for our customers that is unrivaled in performance.
Total Sweat & Odor Protection
No other product offers this level of total sweat and odor protection.
Sweat is then completely blocked by a waterproof laminated fabric. It stops all droplets from passing through but also still breathes so you don’t overheat.
This same fabric is used in a number of demanding environments like hospitals and so is able to stand up to repeated washing so it won’t lose its stopping power.
We added some unique design features to our shirt such as the single pad under each arm (compared to others that have a seam or cut through the waterproof layer under the arm and then stitch the pieces together) which ensures no leakage through seams.
We also made the total pad size for each shirt over 200 square inches to make decrease the chances of leaking around the pad.
Our shirts have extra length to stay tucked in, and we started with a slim fit design so that the undershirt is as unobtrusive to our customer’s look as possible.
Overall we think we’ve taken the best materials, manufacturing techniques and customer insights to make an undershirt that is unrivaled.
It’s the undershirt we want our customers to reach for when they have a truly important moment in their lives.
It’s discreet, reliable and comfortable.
In fact, we’ve had our customers share some of their successes with us, including wearing our undershirt while pitching their business on Shark Tank, on their wedding day, presenting to thousands or in board rooms.
