Although mostly a politically neutral individual, I find certain Presidential Candidates super interesting.
It goes without saying that Donald Trump is one of the most intriguing candidates.
In my early 20’s I read Trump’s “The Art Of The Deal”, and ever since, I’ve admired his tenacity as a business man. Following him passively for the last 20+ years, I’ve been a semi-fan of his brutally honest candor, so I’m almost never shocked by the things that come out of his mouth.
But what happened last night, after the 11/10/15 GOP debate on FOX was nothing short of astonishing.
Mind you, it’s not what the Donald said that impressed me. It’s what he STAGED.
In his post GOP debate interview (link) with with Fox Business Republican debate moderator Neil Cavuto, Trump orchestrated something amazing.
In true Trump fashion, the Donald arranged for both Trump sons, to be EXACTLY on either side of Neil Cavuto, so that a Trump would be visible 100% of the time during the interview.
The other thing that was interesting was that at the very beginning of the interview, Donald Trump Jr. was slightly off the screen to the right, but after they came back to Neil for the second time, both sons were perfectly situated on either side of the screen, perfectly centered.
Mind you, I watched every other candidate get interviewed by Neil, and as far as I can recall, no other family members were in the background behind Neil during the interview.
Why do I find this so amazing? Because it had to be planned and orchestrated, and it’s subliminal and subtle. Pretty brilliant if you ask me.
Whether or not he becomes the GOP nominee or even the next President, isn’t the point here really.
It’s really about how very smart Donald Trump is when it comes to managing his own personal Brand.
