Here’s some exciting news from my friends over at Fruit of the Loom about their new tall and big size undershirts and underwear!

Fruit of the Loom is excited to announce both the Big Man and Tall Man White Crews, available at Kmart in May 2013.

These styles were formerly inaccessible to the mass consumer! Unlike a regular t-shirt sized up, this shirt was specially designed to fit perfectly to a bigger or taller frame.

Big Man Sizing Details

When I asked the folk at Fruit of the Loom for more specifics about the Big Man sizing (example: 2XB), this is what they had to say:

The Big Collection has been specifically tailored to meet the needs of the “Big” consumer.

Oftentimes when you get into larger sized body types, garments are just sized up from the ‘regular’ measurements — not the case with this collection. The “B” sizes have been designed to specifically fit the Big consumer without added bulk to the garments.

So, room where he needs it most (added width around the torso and extra length at the bottom, as well as an adjusted neck and arms) while still retaining a nice fitting garment. Each piece has been fit tested throughout the design process.
