Lose Socks Frequently?

I’m not sure about you, but I don’t really lose socks very often.

So I probably wouldn’t buy into SOLOSOCKS for that reason alone.

That said, I do like the concept of having a collection of interchangeable sock colors or designs.

In general, I’m a pretty boring sock-guy.

Mostly solid colors, over the calf length (so they stay up).

I really like compression socks, so I have a pretty good selection of basic color/designed compression socks.

My #1 biggest issue with socks is size, or rather, how the heel of the sock never aligns with my actual foot heel.

It always goes past it — which I totally hate. Drives me bat-shit crazy if you wanna know the truth.

This idea of one-size-fits all socks model is pretty stupid, in my own humble opinion. I’m an 8.5 shoe size, and standard 8-10 sock sizes almost never fit me PROPERLY.

So, I focus on finding sock offerings that offer a wider variety of sizes, so I can experiment with different sizes.

Unfortunately SOLOSOCKS size selection is either 4-7 or 8-12, so my guess would be the 4-7 would be too small and the 8-10 would be a bit too big where the heel wouldn’t fit properly.

I have found some socks that are sized men 7-9 which seem to fit me much more precisely.

I’ve also noticed that some women’s socks in larger sizes fit me pretty good as well — but very few of them have a truly Unisex design.

I’ll be keeping my eye out for socks that offer a greater variety of sizes, and if I find more, I’ll be sure to write about them here on the site.

Have Any Good Socks Recommendations?

Do you know of any socks brands that offer a wider variety of sizes?

If so, tell me about it in the comments section below.
