RE: Fruit of the Loom Boxer Briefs: Style-conscious men I know seem to frequently turn up their nose at Fruit of the Loom underwear, at least in part for the admittedly coarser fabric used in most of their products, as compared to higher end products. You get what you pay for. However, I recently purchased some “newly improved” FTL boxer briefs and was pleasantly surprised. I offered the following review of these on the manufacturer’s website:

“I have long favored traditional mid-length briefs over standard mens’ briefs, or the more trendy “boxer briefs,” which I usually find to be too short in the leg, with a tendency to bunch up in the crotch, where most men don’t need extra filler. FTL’s recent boxer briefs are a real improvement in several regards. I like the full rise styling, the longer leg-length, the taped front seams, and the flatter leg hems, which seem to wear better, and show less through pants’ legs. My only wish is for a still plusher, softer cotton fabric – which I would gladly pay for! Overall however, I find this garment to be quite comfortable. It fits my individual torso very well, and retains it shape over the course the day.” Greatly improved.

    • thanks for the details and fruit of the loom boxer brief product feedback robert! appreciate you sharing that information with me/us.

hey, you may want to check out gildan boxer briefs too. heard that they ran some independent tests comparing themselves to hanes and fruit of the loom, and customers preferred the feel of the gildan boxer briefs.

dunno if it’s true, but it’s something to consider.
