Date Stamping Undershirts

Each Fresh White Tee (Undershirt) is stamped with a date. The company recommends replacing your undershirts once per year.

Through a survey study, we found that undershirts begin developing stains around six to eight months of wear. This of course varies depending on several factors including how you wash (both the shirt and yourself), how often they are worn, the type of deodorant used, and how much you sweat.

However, most turned out to be completely stained after an estimated use of one full year, so we suggest using the date stamp on the shirt as a one year benchmark for when you want to examine your shirts and replace them with your next shipment from the Fresh White Tee Club.

I like the way they worded this. They suggest examining your undershirts after a year, seeing the condition, and determining if they need replacing.

Though, if you’re on one of their subscription plans, you’ll be getting undershirts regularly unless you pause the subscription.

I also wonder how long the date stamp lasts as well. That’s obviously added to shirts in some manual fashion because the date should correlate to when you bought the undershirts and not when they were made.  So the question is exactly how do they apply that date stamp, and how does it hold up to repeated washing and drying.

With proper care, your undershirts should be able to last you more than a year, but I wouldn’t recommend keeping them for more than 2-3 years.

Afterall, they’re the closest thing to your body, so why not feel fresh & clean by simply replacing your undershirts, underwear, and socks regularly.
